They are slow as hell but when my net goes down, I turn to them. They are dial-up and you have to listen to a bloody commercial before connecting, but it's better than nothing. Thus it is slooooooooow.... Also, using your phone like that can be very expensive over here. O2 charged £2.75 ($5) a megabyte last time I checked! It is always up and usually as fast as a throttled comcast connection.
